A Nightly Swim

Austin blinked, staring at his reflection in the water, taking in the details form his blone hair that was tied ever so gently in a pony tail to the small eye patch that rested on his eye, even though it was not needed. He gently slipped off the patch and took his hair out of the pony tail as it gently fell at his shoulders. He rid himelf of his hat and cape next, followed by his shirt, and emptiying the pockets of his pants, before diving into the pool, shirtless, against the rules, at midnight. He sighed, the water felt good on a geated body. Then again the water was always colder at night, for some reason.

The pool area was quite and peaceful, hardly a sound being made. Josh had come here to take a dip in the pool, like he usually did this late at night, but there was already someone there. The superhero in training gradually made his way to the edge of the pool, his feet a mere foot away from the clean blue waters. "What are you doing here, Austin?" he asked his best friend, smiling. Josh suddenly threw his shirt off and did a cannonball into the ball, causing electrified currents of water to burst four feet into the air.

"Ahhhg!" Austin screeched out, water smashing into his mouth as he coughed and hacked it up...Well, half hacked, half stiffled laughter at the random cannon ball. After about a minute of the obbsessive hacking he finally calmed down and looked at his friend. "Do you really need to ask that? For the same reason as you I guess...Either that or I just wanted to..."

Josh stretched out tiredly in the water, his eyes shutting. "Man, the water is cold tonight." he sighed, shivering slightly as he plunged beneath the surface of the water. With a gentle kick of his feet he made it to the bottom of the pool where he let out his breath and sat at the bottom, his eyes open as he looked around.

Austin gave off a violent shiver. He had never noticed that until Josh had mentioned it. He shivered again, grumbling as he did the same as Josh, kicking and in the end sitting at the bottom of the pool. He opened his mouth, trying to tell him off for making him cold, but it only came out as a series of bubbles and gurgles, which resulted in Austin gagging, water in his mouth and him scrambling for air.

Josh looked at Austin, almost tumbling over laughing at him; though he knew that this would restrict his breathing. He could actually last a bit longer than most people beneath the water, due to his years of swimming practice. He finally got an idea as he began to send waves of thermal electricity across the skin of his body, heating it up to where he was no longer cold. The result of this also slightly heated the water around him.

Due to being at the surface of the water, head poked out, the Shivering Austin couldn't feel the heating effects of the water, and all he could do is grumble and shiver as he swam back down, only to findhte warm spot and immediatly swim back up to the surface, eyes bulged. "Dude! Did you pee?!" He yelped, bolting out of the pool.

Josh shot up to the surface, gasping for air as he breathed in some more air. "No, of course not!" he shouted, laughing as he grinned. The static electricity running across his skin now became visible. "I just used thermal electricity to heat up the water surrounding me." he told him, kicking back and doing the butterfly stroke.

Austin grumbled again, as he laughed a little under his frown, which was obviously fake, as he dived back into the water and swimming a little, before popping his head out and tagging Josh. "I'm bored...We're playing Marco Polo, your it..." With that, he laughed out loud and dived into the water.

Josh shook his head in disappointment. "You know me too well!" he laughed, referring to how immature they both were for Juniors. The Junior superhero closed his eyes before shooting through the water at 200 MPH, eventually tagging Austin. "HAHA! GOTCHA!"

Kayla walked into the pool room wearing her dark purple, two piece swimsuit. She frowned a bit at the sight of her brother and boyfriend in the pool--She had been hoping it would be empty. But then again, she really liked Austin and Josh, so she smiled a bit. She dropped her towel o the edge of the pool, and walked over to the high-dive. She jumped up on top of it, with a little help from her flying, and ran towards the edge. Reaching the edge, she did a perfect swan dive into the water, this time without any help from her flying. Hitting the water, she cut through it, and turned around in mid swim, smoothly swimming up to the surface. Breaking through the water, she briefly scanned the pool, before spotting Josh and Austin. She brushed her wet, black hair from her eyes, and swam over to them.

Austin's eyes were squeezed shut as he thrashed around. "AHHHH!" He thrashed around, unable to tell who it was. He flopped around in the water a little, eyes still closed for some reason, before one of his flailing hands hit Kayla on the head gently. He popped open his eyes, grinning, clearly he wanted to still play. He laughed. "Hi Sis! Your it! Marco Polo!"

Josh saw Kayla dive directly into the pool, a perfect swan dive. He couldn't help but stop what he was doing as he swam over to her, smiling. "Hey Kayla!" he greeted her, ignoring the game momentarily.

"Hey Josh! Hey Austin!" Grinned Kayla, treading water. "Huh? Wha? I'm it?" She asked, once Austin tagged her. "How do you know I'm even playing?" She smirked. "I'm strictly here to practice my swimming and to gawk at how sexy Josh is." She replied to Austin. "Which means you're still it, buddy." She told him smirking and poking him. She then hugged them both, and then swam backwards a bit. "You guys play, I'll watch." She said, grinning, holding onto the wall.

Austin pouted. "Fine..." He closed his eyes again and turned to dive, "And I'm sexy too!" He added, diving into the water before anyone could contradict him. Suddenly he popped out from the water and tackled Josh. "Your it!" He screached, before teleporting away in a puff of blueish green smoke.

Josh hugged Kayla back when she hugged him. "Yeah, but I'm not as sexy as you." he smirked, kissing her gently as she swam over to the wall. It was then that Austin took him by surprise, but before he could completely teleport away, Josh shot out his hand and tagged him, before diving low beneath the water.

Kayla smiled, as she watched them playing Marco Polo. She then leaned forwards, and swam, head first, into the bottom of the pool. Reaching the bottom, she promptly turned around, and swam upwards really fast. Once she reached the top, she launched herself in the air with her flying powers. In the air she stopped flying, and did a flip in the air. She then dived back into the water, and swam across the pool while on the bottom of it. Reaching the end she surfaced for air, and turned around to watch Austin and Josh.

"GWAA!" Austin called out, slipping down as his hand fell down to grab onto Josh;s hand as he fell backwards into the deeper part of the pool, falling backwards, air shooting out of his nose as he laughed and coughed at the same time.

Josh chuckled, using his flight underwater to blast backward so that Austin couldn't grab his hand. He chuckled, before going across the pool, while still underwater, before coming up behind Kayla and hugging her from behind.

"Eek!" Squealed Kayla in surprised. She immediately blushed afterwards, because she didn't like making sounds like that. She whirled around, and hugged Josh. "Hiii Josh!" She said, a little too hyper. She smiled, and kissed him. She then broke away and hugged him again. "What brings you to this side of the pool?" She asked jokingly.

Josh held her around the waist, smiling. "You." he answered, looking over to Austin, who was probably really weirded out. "What brings you here?"

Austin's eyes wer clamed shut as he wandered around the pool. frequently bumping into the edge of the pool until he honed in on his sister's voice. It sounded as if Josh was over there, so he mozied over and attemoted to tackle Josh, but missed and flailed into the water.

Kayla stared at Austin for a second, before directing her attention back onto Josh. "Just swimming around. ^_^" She said, smiling. She then looked at Austin again, and decided to play a prank on him. She closed her eyes, then opened them, and raised her hand. Out of the water rose Austin, hovering because of her telekinesis. "Hehehe..." She chuckled, stopping her hand and keeping him suspended. "No more tackling people." She told him jokingly.

Josh chuckled, watching as Austin flailed in the air. "I don't think he even notices..." he whispered to Kimi, chuckling again.

Swivering around, Austin frantically flailed around. "Ahhhhh!" He lashed his arms about, causing the deck of cards near the edge of the pool to fly about everywhere slashing at anything thye could.
